Why a web & SEO company also shoots video
Most agencies that build your website and run your SEO have never held a light meter. Garnett has — before Meridian was an SEO company, he worked in stage and event production: lighting design, live sound, video. That background didn't disappear when the company became a website-and-CRM business. It became a real, separately priced part of the Done-For-You Signature Partner offer.
It shows up in a specific, practical way: walking into a client's restaurant at 8pm and being able to say, plainly, "your menu is unreadable under this lighting — you're losing covers and you don't know it," or noticing a back room that sits empty every month because nobody searching for event space in the area can find a page about it. That's not a generic marketing observation. It's a production professional's eye, applied to a small business that has never had access to one.
This page exists because that combination — SEO/AIO/GEO, a custom CRM, and real production work — is genuinely uncommon, and it deserves its own honest pricing rather than being buried as a vague perk inside a monthly fee.
Four ways to work with the production side
Whatever you need video for, it fits one of four tiers. Each is priced on its own — none of them is a padded add-on to make a retainer sound bigger than it is.
The three sub-pages below go deep on the two situations where this comes up most: a restaurant or food business that needs its space and its plates to actually look like the place people book, and an event venue or producer whose back room sits empty because nobody can find it. A third page covers the AI-assisted option on its own, including the limits we hold ourselves to — because that's the part worth being explicit about.
What this is grounded in — real search data, not a guess
Before writing a word of this cluster, we pulled live volume, competition and 12-month trend data from the Keywords Everywhere API for the terms restaurant, venue and event owners actually type — the same discipline every Meridian page follows. "Food videographer" is searched roughly 2,400 times a month nationally, with Google Ads advertiser competition at just 0.01 and volume up 31% over the past year. "Event video production" runs about 390 searches a month, also at 0.01 competition and up 54%. "AI video production" is smaller — about 320 a month — but the fastest-growing of the three, up 77% year over year.
One honest finding from that same pull: neither "video production harlem" nor any Harlem-specific video phrase returns measurable search volume. Harlem is where this work happens and where the trust comes from — it is not, on the evidence, where people are searching for it. So this cluster is built to rank nationally on the real terms, with Harlem carried as the origin story, not the keyword strategy.

Book a production call →An honest word
We don't guarantee views, bookings, or engagement from any video — no honest production partner can promise virality. What we can promise is real, professionally shot or edited work, delivered on the terms in writing before anyone books a date: a fixed scope for the Brand Film, a real crew, real insurance, and a hard rule that anything showing your actual restaurant, your actual food, your actual staff or your actual customers is real footage we captured — never something generated to look like your business. AI does graphics, type and transitions. It does not do your dining room.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to buy the full $15,000 Signature Partner build to get video work?+
No. The quarterly content-capture day is part of the Signature Partner retainer, but the Signature Brand Film and the AI-assisted social videos are their own products with their own agreements — you can book either on its own. Book a call and we'll scope exactly what you need.
What's the actual difference between the three tiers?+
The included capture day is one operator (Garnett, his own camera and lights) shooting photo, vertical clips and B-roll on a quarterly visit, then edited monthly. The Signature Brand Film is a full crew — camera, lighting, sound — on a scripted, insured single-day shoot, from $10,000. AI-assisted video takes real footage already captured and builds a short social clip around it, with AI limited to graphics and transitions, never your actual space or food.
Is any of the video AI-generated?+
Never the parts that show your business. Anything depicting your premises, your food, your products, your staff or your customers is real footage, captured by us or supplied by you. Generative AI is used only for motion graphics, typography, transitions, and stylized background elements — the same limit written into every Meridian video agreement.
Do you only work with restaurants and event venues?+
Those are the businesses where the production background matters most — a room, a plate, or an event space has to actually look like the place people book. If your business doesn't fit that shape, book a call anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether this is the right fit.
How is this different from hiring a local videographer?+
A local videographer shoots video. This is video production folded into the same partnership that also builds your website, runs your SEO and AIO/GEO visibility, and operates your CRM — so the footage gets used everywhere it should: your site, your Google Business Profile, and your YouTube channel with real keyword research behind it, not just a folder of clips.
One category. One neighborhood. One partner.
